UNDP Angola

Towards development, leaving no one behind

Our Mission

UNDP works in around 170 countries and territories, supporting the eradication of poverty, the reduction of inequalities and the strengthening of resilience for sustainable progress. As the UN's main development agency, the UNDP supports countries in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In Angola, the UNDP's work is centered on four priority areas: 1) Employment and inclusive economic growth; 2) Health and well-being; 3) Climate action and environmental resilience; 4) Democratic and effective governance. These priorities are reinforced by cross-cutting themes such as gender equality, innovation and digitalization, that drive integrated and sustainable solutions.
