UNDP and governments 

UNDP's partnership with governments forms the foundation of our development work globally. We collaborate closely with national governments to strengthen institutional capacity, improve governance systems, and translate policy frameworks into effective implementation. Regionally, we support cross-border cooperation and knowledge sharing, helping coordinate responses to shared challenges. Our engagement with local governments ensures that development initiatives reach communities where they are most needed, building municipal capacity and fostering citizen participation.
