UNDP's partnerships with philanthropies and foundations combine complementary strengths and resources to find solutions to development challenges. Through co-investment approaches, we amplify impact beyond what any single actor could achieve alone.

We work with both global and local foundations, recognizing the unique knowledge they offer across sectors from health and education to climate action and governance. Our partnerships span private independent foundations and corporate foundations, each bringing distinct perspectives and capabilities to development challenges. 

As we seek to develop relations in regions where philanthropy is growing, we focus on building long-term collaborative frameworks that go beyond traditional funding relationships. By pooling resources and knowledge with foundations at every level, we demonstrate that strategic collaboration can accelerate sustainable development progress and create lasting solutions that outlive individual projects.
