Reviving Hope
A Partnership with the Republic of Korea on Crisis Recovery
From Ukraine to Myanmar, Gaza and beyond, renewal is rising from the rubble of crisis, as communities lay the foundations for safer, stronger, and more resilient futures.
Through the REVIVE Global Project, the Republic of Korea and UNDP are helping people move beyond crisis, creating jobs and restoring essential services so families can rebuild their futures with safety, dignity, and hope. Because when recovery takes root, it doesn’t just rebuild lives: it rebuilds trust, stability, and the foundations for lasting peace.
REVIVE - "Relief, Employment and Vital Infrastructure for the Vulnerable in Emergencies" - will support communities across six countries, where 96.7 million need humanitarian assistance, 27.4 million are displaced, and 74.3 million face acute food insecurity.
From rebuilding homes in Myanmar and Ukraine to protecting survivors of gender-based violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, restoring livelihoods in Afghanistan, and rehabilitating essential services in Gaza and Syria, REVIVE aims to show through tangible results the power of rapid, coordinated, and community-led action.
Even amid immense challenges, nations can rise together, transforming solidarity into tangible action to help communities around the world regain hope, dignity, and opportunity.
