Gaza:

Hope Amid Catastrophe

Two years of conflict in Gaza have displaced 1.9 million people - over 90 percent of the population - and destroyed almost all of the housing, generating tens of millions of tonnes of debris. Most displaced families now live in overcrowded and unsanitary makeshift shelters.

REVIVE provides transitional housing, essential services, and community-led initiatives to strengthen social cohesion and local ownership.

Dr. Ramiz Alakbarov, UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, said at the local launch event, “Gaza is facing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe. The Republic of Korea’s timely support is making a tangible impact, helping restore education, healthcare, and water services to over half a million people.”
