Women’s Safety Audit (WSA) is a participatory research approach to assess the safety & security concerns of women in public spaces and the practice of safety measures to protect them. This audit helps to identify safety and security concerns and protection mechanisms focusing on gender based violence (GBV) particularly among women and girls. With support from European Union in Nepal, UN Women Nepal, the study was conducted by Legal Aid Consultancy Centre (LACC) in three municipalities and two sub metropolitan cities of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim province of Nepal.
