The UNDP Maldives' Accelerator Lab teamed up with dedicated local volunteers for crowd mapping of Haa Alif Ihavandhoo. By blending modern cartography tools with participatory methods, we captured the spatial knowledge of the vibrant community, empowering them to shape their own narrative. Collective Intelligence unlocks incredible potential when people collaborate using technology and data. 

Methods like crowd mapping harness local knowledge to tackle disasters and climate change. With this powerful tool, we can visualize and address unique vulnerabilities and hazards faced by the community. The crowd mapping was done with the support of Ihavandhoo Council and the volunteers from the local institutions.
