Accountability

Policies and Procedures

UNDP’s Programme and Operations Policies and Procedures (POPP) portal is the public online repository of policies which contains the operational standards and procedural guidance on UNDP’s core business processes. The portal provides internal and external partners access to the UNDP policy and procedure framework through a user-friendly, cloud-based website connected to other corporate platforms, including Quantum and UNall. The portal offers a modern user interface, a comprehensive search function with a variety of filter options, and multilingual capabilities. Content is organized within ten (10) policy areas, providing information on how UNDP approaches programme and project management, manages financial and human resources, procures goods and services, manages information and communications technology, security, administrative services, partnerships, accountability, and works in crisis situations.

The POPP is almost entirely accessible to the public. The chapters that are not open to the public cover UNDP arrangements for digital and physical security.

The POPP contains links to non-UNDP documents, such as documents from the United Nations Secretariat or the United Nations Sustainable Development Group. If you are unable to access these resources, please contact these organizations directly for further advice. UNDP takes no responsibility for the views or content, including accuracy thereof, contained in these documents.

To learn more, visit the POPP portal. For any questions about the POPP please email popp.feedback@undp.org
