Nature, climate and energy
Across the Eastern Caribbean, climate change is no longer a distant threat — it is already shaping daily life, livelihoods and the future of island communities. From stronger storms and coastal erosion to water stress and pressure on food systems, its impacts are being felt across the region.
Our Work
UNDP works with governments and communities to protect natural resources, strengthen climate change adaptation and mitigation, and support more sustainable energy pathways.
Our Nature, Climate and Energy projects support climate resilience, environmental protection and sustainable energy solutions. This work brings together climate action, environmental protection and sustainable energy solutions that help countries and communities adapt and move forward.
It supports stronger climate risk management, healthier ecosystems and practical responses that link environmental sustainability with livelihoods and long-term development. By ensuring that those most affected by climate change, including vulnerable communities, are better supported resilience efforts can take shape.
