This study carried out by the Journalists’ Society for Parliamentary Affairs (JSPA) with the support from UNDP's Parliament Support Project (PSP) makes an attempt to document and explore the political and historical development of the parliamentary committees, their effectiveness and the major trend of committee practices since the election of the first parliament of Nepal in 1959.
