The Tadamon Crowdfunding Academy is an online training program that enables civil society organizations (CSOs) to raise funds using crowdfunding. It aims to empower CSOs with know-how on how to finance their projects and ideas in alternative ways, build and grow their community, give their projects more visibility, and engage more partners and donors. We are now moving the program online in partnership with Kaya platform, a global learning platform of the Humanitarian Leadership Academy.

Tadamon Crowdfunding Academy is a part of the IsDB - ISFD NGO Empowerment for Poverty Reduction Program, which is sponsored by the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD), managed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and implemented by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and other strategic partners. The mission of the program is to provide visibility to CSOs`projects and activities, support them to have better access to alternative finance and connect them to potential partners and supporters.

Selected CSOs will participate in the Academy to develop a crowdfunding campaign using e-learning tools and offline training by following a tested program that offers learning materials and presentations, work assignments and guidance from leading crowdfunding experts. Also, selected CSOs will qualify for grants and additional support being provided by ISDB and UNDP.

To apply for the Academy with a project idea, fill out your application form on your organization’s profile/account, by the 21st of March 2022 at 23:59 Maldives time, available on the Tadamon platform.

The program is tailored to fit the needs of CSOs and improve their skills so that they can successfully utilize alternative sources of funding. Designed to be fun and engaging, the modules cover the key steps in designing a crowdfunding project – from building a campaign and communications strategy to learning how to set your financial goals, storytelling and preparing visuals and videos. The program brings together national and global experts in crowdfunding, media/PR relations, social media copywriting, design and so much more.
