Partnerships with China, through the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) and the China–UNDP Triangular Cooperation Programme, is contributing to several impactful initiatives to strengthen the Maldives’ climate resilience - including upgrading meteorological infrastructure, improving forecasting accuracy, and developing inclusive, digital early warning systems aligned with national priorities and the global Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative. These initiatives reflect a joint dedication to fostering climate resilience and good governance across the islands.
