国連開発計画（UNDP）とシティ・ファウンデーションは、若者によるイノベーションと社会起業を支援するプログラム、「Youth Co:Lab（ユース・コーラボ）」の一環として、社会起業コンテスト「ソーシャル・イノベーション・チャレンジ」を2019年から継続して開催してきました。Youth Co：Labは、若者がリーダーシップを発揮し、社会革新を起こし、起業家精神を持つことによるSDGs（持続可能な開発目標）実行の加速を目指すエンパワーメントプログラムです。

今年で7年目を迎えるYouth Co:Labでは、「ソーシャル・イノベーション・チャレンジ日本大会2025 歴代受賞者グランプリ」を東京大学と共催します。本大会では、SDGs達成につながる事業に取り組む歴代受賞者が、さらに磨きをかけた成果を発表するとともに、若手社会起業家としての成長の軌跡に焦点を当てます。さらに、ビジネスモデルや成長の評価にとどまらず、応募プロセス全体を通じて、インパクト経営の基本概念とインパクト測定・マネジメント（IMM）について体系的に学び、それを自社・団体の戦略作りに活用する支援も行います。

本取り組みは、インパクト投資による資金調達の可能性を高めることも一つの目的としながら、各事業の社会的・環境的インパクトの強化を図り、SDGs達成への貢献を促進することを目指しています。

賞及び特典

最優秀インパクト賞や、挑戦力や変化対応力を評価するチャレンジ賞、観客賞に加え、CVC賞や、難民課題に特化したUNHCR賞や、世界最大級のクラウドプラットフォームであるアマゾン・ウェブ・サービス (AWS) から AWS女性社会起業家賞なども設定予定です。

応募要項

I. 応募資格：

2019〜2024年のSIC日本大会受賞者（リスト）
2024年UNHCR賞及びAWS女性 IT 社会起業家賞ファイナリスト

注：受賞後に事業変更された場合も、その旨をご説明の上、現在取り組まれている事業での応募が可能です。

II. 審査基準：本審査は、過去のYouth Co：Lab受賞者の中から、事業の進化・挑戦・社会的意義を総合的に評価し、社会変革を担う若手社会起業家を選出することを目的とします。活動期間が短い場合でも、革新性や挑戦の意義、成長のスピードなども重視して評価します。

応募フォームのロジックモデルの記入に関する質問に対応するため、モデルの基本的な構成や書き方について説明するQ&Aセッションを、毎週1回・1時間の枠で開催します。
このセッションでは、各応募者の事業内容に対する個別アドバイスではなく、ロジックモデルの考え方や記入方法そのものについての理解を深めることを目的としています。
応募に関する一般的な質問にも対応いたします。

Social Innovation Challenge Japan 2025 – Call for Applications

Overview
The Social Innovation Challenge (SIC) Japan, launched in 2019 by UNDP and Citi Foundation under the Youth Co:Lab initiative, supports youth-led innovation and social entrepreneurship to accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Now in its seventh year, Youth Co:Lab will co-host the Social Innovation Challenge Japan 2025- Alumni Grand Prix with the University of Tokyo. At this event, past winners who have been working on initiatives contributing to the achievement of the SDGs will present their refined outcomes, while also highlighting their growth journeys as young social entrepreneurs.

In addition to evaluating business models and growth, the entire application process will serve as a structured learning opportunity on the fundamentals of impact-driven management and Impact Measurement and Management (IMM). Participants will be supported in applying these concepts to the strategic development of their own organizations or enterprises.

This initiative also aims to enhance the potential for fundraising through impact investment, while strengthening the social and environmental impact of each project and promoting contributions toward achieving the SDGs.

Prizes and Awards
In addition to the Grand Impact Award, the Challenge Award (which recognizes resilience and adaptability), and the Audience Award, several other prizes are planned, including the CVC Award, the UNHCR Award focused on refugee-related issues, and the AWS Women Social Entrepreneur Award presented by Amazon Web Services.

Business model – innovation, feasibility, sustainability, scalability
Challenge and adaptability
Achievements and impact – both business and social/environmental

Additional criteria for:

UNHCR Award: Led by individuals with refugee backgrounds or addressing refugee issues
AWS Award: Women-led social businesses using IT

Social Innovation Challenge Japan – Alumni Grand Prix 2025 Logic Model Q&A Sessions

To support applicants with completing the logic model section of the application form, we will hold weekly one-hour Q&A sessions explaining the basic structure and writing approach of the model.

Please note: These sessions are not intended to provide individual advice on each applicant’s business content, but rather to deepen understanding of the logic model concept and how to complete it. General questions related to the application process will also be addressed.
