UNDP and the Government of Denmark Announce Participants Selection Competition

The United Nations Development Programme and the Government of Denmark, within the framework of the project “Greening the Future, Rights and Stability under the Digital Ambassadors Programme, announce an individual and/or group competition in the municipalities of Poti and Khobi to promote the development and popularization of digital skills and electronic services.

Objectives of the Competition

  • Empower young people to actively promote and increase the use of digital tools and electronic services within their communities
  • Advance the green transition by supporting environmental initiatives that leverage digital technologies for sustainable impact
  • Enhance awareness of and trust in both public and private digital services
  • Strengthen digital competencies in local communities, with particular attention to vulnerable groups, while fostering a culture of technological innovation
  • Encourage the development of innovative, locally driven solutions to address digital challenges
  • Support tourism development by creating and/or adopting innovative digital services

Participants will be supported through mentoring and consultations, training and educational materials, as well as facilitation of cooperation with private‑sector partners to implement selected projects.

Who Can Apply? 

The competition is open to:

  • Participants of the Digital Ambassadors Program from the municipalities of Poti and Khobi
  • Young people aged 16–29, applying either individually or in groups of up to five members
  • Groups applying through schools, including those with teacher participation
