NOTICE: Deadline extended for submission of project proposals under the public call of the project “Bridges of Trust – Advancing Social Cohesion and Resilience in Bosnia and Herzegovina”
We hereby inform all interested organizations that the deadline for submission of project proposals under the Public Call for Project Proposals within the project “Bridges of Trust – Advancing Social Cohesion and Resilience in Bosnia and Herzegovina” has been extended until 9 April 2026, 23:59. The decision to extend the deadline aims to provide potential applicants with additional time to prepare high-quality project proposals in line with the Public Call Guidelines, and to submit final, thematically relevant and technically sound applications with all required documentation.
Applicants are encouraged to use the additional time to:
further develop project ideas that contribute to strengthening social cohesion, inter-community dialogue and the promotion of diversity
ensure strong partnerships, particularly between different ethnic and geographical communities
include vulnerable and marginalized groups in the design and implementation of project activities
ensure that all requirements related to technical content, budget and project duration are fully met
Please note:
Applicants are required to pay attention to technical, grammatical and spelling standards when preparing documentation. All documents submitted electronically must be clearly named in a way that enables the evaluation committee to easily identify their content and the applicant organization (e.g. 1_Project_Proposal_NGO_Srce).

About the “SCORE” project
“Bridges of Trust – Advancing Social Cohesion and Resilience in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SCORE Project)” is an initiative focused on strengthening social cohesion, resilience and inclusive participation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through the use of data and targeted interventions, the project aims to reduce social divisions, build trust and enhance democratic engagement.
A special focus is placed on marginalized groups, particularly women and youth, and their active participation in decision-making processes and the development of society.
The project is implemented in 10 partner local government units (LGUs) across Bosnia and Herzegovina: Brčko District of BiH, Doboj, Jajce, Mostar, Odžak, Prnjavor, Srebrenica, Stolac, Teslić and Velika Kladuša.
General objective of the public call
The purpose of this public call is to select and fund local initiatives that contribute to strengthening social cohesion, intergroup trust and inclusive participation of citizens, especially youth and women, in public and political life in the selected 10 LGUs.
The call aligns with project outcome 3 (strengthening local mechanisms and platforms) and is based on SCORE research findings and consultations with local dialogue platforms.
Civil society organizations (CSOs), particularly youth and women’s organizations, are encouraged to apply.
Theme and priority areas
The overall theme of the call is strengthening social cohesion, intergroup trust and inclusive participation of citizens, especially youth and women, in public and political life, including:
Dialogue and cooperation among communities, joint activities that build trust and reduce divisions
Inclusion of youth and women in decision-making, public policies and community development
Countering divisions and hate speech and promoting positive narratives and progressive voices (local media, digital content)
Strengthening capacities of local organizations for inclusive and conflict-sensitive action
Initiatives that deliver concrete, measurable results at community level and can be replicated elsewhere
Additional thematic priorities identified through local dialogue platforms may also be considered.
Eligibility conditions
Mandatory partnership requirement:
Projects must demonstrate active involvement, partnership and cooperation among different actors within partner LGUs or with actors from other LGUs. These partnerships may include CSOs, foundations, educational institutions, cultural institutions and other relevant stakeholders.
Projects must promote cross-sector dialogue and joint action, with strong emphasis on inclusivity and participation of youth, women and different ethnic groups.
Target groups
Projects should primarily target citizens of partner LGUs, with focus on:
Citizens from one or more partner LGUs
Youth aged 15 to 30 from different ethnic groups
Women and girls, with focus on leadership, activism and equal participation
Persons with disabilities
Members of different ethnic groups, with emphasis on cooperation
Citizens from rural or underdeveloped areas
Participation must be meaningful, not symbolic, including active roles in decision-making and project implementation.
Budget
Total available funding: up to 600,000 BAM
Grant size
30,000 to 60,000 BAM per project.
Who can apply
Civil society organizations and foundations registered and operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Duration
Projects may last up to six months and must be completed by the end of November 2026.
Location
Activities must primarily take place in one or more of the following LGUs:
Brčko District, Doboj, Jajce, Mostar, Odžak, Prnjavor, Srebrenica, Stolac, Teslić, Velika Kladuša.

Guidelines for the public call
Documentation will be available in the period from 05.03.2026 to 09.04.2026.
Completed applications and supporting documentation must be submitted exclusively electronically in PDF format to the e-mail address: scorejavnipoziv@undp.onmicrosoft.com
The deadline for submission of applications is 09.04.2026 at 23:59.
Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
If the size of the documents exceeds the limit for sending in a single email, it is allowed to send documentation in several consecutive emails. Each subsequent message must be clearly marked as a continuation of the previous one (e.g. “Application – continuation 1”, “Application – continuation 2”, etc.).
To ensure transparency of the process, each applicant will receive an email confirmation of successful receipt of the application within 72 hours of receipt.
The use of platforms such as WeTransfer or other external data transfer services is not allowed.
Important: All documents that make up the application must be clearly named, so that from the file name it is unambiguously clear which document it is (e.g. “Application form”, “Budget”, “Logical framework”, “Partnership statement”, etc.).

The subject of the message must include a reference to the Public Call within the SCORE project. Inquiries may be sent no later than Tuesday, 07 April 2026. Responses will be provided in written form via email within three (3) working days from the date of receipt of the inquiry.
Notification of results
The results of the public call will be published on the website of the United Nations Development Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
