The evaluation of applications submitted under the Expression of Interest Call for ESCO Projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been completed. The call was launched under the EU4Energy Efficiency project, funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP in cooperation with the Czech Development Agency.

The evaluation process was conducted in accordance with the criteria set out in the Expression of Interest Call. Based on the evaluation results, the 24 highest-ranked projects have been selected to proceed to the first phase of support, during which they will receive fully funded technical assistance for the preparation of comprehensive ESCO feasibility studies.

The feasibility studies will assess the technical, energy, financial and operational viability of the proposed investments and identify the optimal package of energy efficiency and renewable energy measures for each project.

Upon completion of the first phase, and based on the findings of the ESCO feasibility studies, up to 12 projects demonstrating the strongest financial viability and overall suitability for implementation under the ESCO model will be selected to advance to the second phase of support.

Projects selected for the second phase will receive assistance with the preparation of tender documentation, co-financing for the implementation of selected measures, and technical support throughout implementation and verification of achieved results, subject to the availability of project funds.
