61 projects valued at more than BAM 900,000 supported through ReLOaD3
June 12, 2026
The European Union has supported 61 projects of civil society organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to improve the quality of life in local communities and strengthen cooperation between civil society organizations and local authorities.
The total value of the projects is 912,000 KM, and they are implemented through the Regional Programme for Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 3 - ReLOaD3. The European Union has provided between 55% and 65% of the funds through ReLOaD3, while local self-government units have participated with at least 35% of the funding.
All projects are aligned with the development goals of the communities in which they are implemented in order to improve the quality of life of the population in the long term.
The projects were selected based on public calls conducted in 13 municipalities and cities between November 2025 and April 2026. Before defining the thematic areas covered by the public calls, consultative processes were carried out with civil society organizations in each local government unit to ensure that the selected areas of funding correspond to the real needs of local communities and the priorities of citizens.
