Resident Representative's Message

The year 2025 has been one of resilience, innovation, collaboration, and change. Together with our Government counterparts, development partners and stakeholders across the region, we advanced sustainable development for hundreds of communities - managing approximately US $50 million through 22 active projects spanning climate action, economic resilience, disaster recovery, justice reform, digital and artificial intelligence, innovation, and inclusive growth.

We supported governments in designing digital inclusion strategies and building capacity in AI and digital skills for public servants. Through partnerships, we strengthened policy frameworks for protecting natural habitats and sustainable livelihoods - reinforcing resilience in Small Island Developing States. From expanding MSME access to finance to delivering justice sector upgrades and disaster recovery support, our work touched lives across the Eastern Caribbean, advancing prosperity for all and effective governance.

These milestones were possible because of partnership. We look forward to deepening our collaboration in the coming years – mobilizing innovative financing, scaling AI and digital solutions, and accelerating progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals. Our new corporate UNDP Strategic Plan 2026 - 2029 focuses on four core objectives: prosperity for all, effective governance, crisis resilience, and a healthy planet – powered by digital and AI transformation, gender equality, and sustainable finance.

Together, we are building a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future.
