UNDP Ready to Support Saint Kitts and Nevis' Sustainable Island State Agenda

BASSETERRE, Saint Kitts and Nevis – Ms. Limya Eltayeb, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Representative to Saint Kitts and Nevis, presented her credentials to the Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, the Foreign Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, October 27.

The meeting between Foreign Minister Dr. Denzil Douglas and Ms. Limya Eltayeb included discussions about not only sustaining the ongoing initiatives but also exploring new areas of collaboration. They emphasized the need to adapt to the evolving development landscape and find innovative solutions to support the nation’s Sustainable Island State agenda. The UNDP Representative expressed her enthusiasm to work closely with the government and other stakeholders in identifying and implementing new projects that align with Saint Kitts and Nevis’ development priorities.

Ms. Eltayeb also paid courtesy calls on the Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Hon. Geoffrey Hanley, Minister of Sustainable Development et al, Hon. Joyelle, Clarke, and the Junior Minister for Youth Empowerment et al, Hon. Islaean Phillip.
