As Viet Nam deepens its commitment to sustainable development and green growth, social impact businesses (SIBs) are proving to be key drivers of inclusive and resilient economic progress.

Developed under the ISEE-COVID project, co-implemented by UNDP and the Ministry of Planning and Investment with funding from Global Affairs Canada, the first edition of the White Book offers the most comprehensive overview to date of the SIB ecosystem in Viet Nam.

It showcases the contributions of SIBs to vulnerable communities, the challenges they faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, and their potential to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Drawing on data, analysis, and case studies from 2017–2021, the White Book is a practical resource for policymakers, researchers, and development partners to better understand and support the growth of SIBs.
