In the context of growing attention to social policy and the inclusion of youth in economic life, employment of young persons with disabilities (YPWD) remains a pressing issue in Uzbekistan. Despite government efforts, the employment rate among YPWD remains low. This study, conducted by the Institute for Social Protection Development, aims to identify key barriers to employment for YPWD through surveys and desk research, and offers concrete recommendations to improve their access to the labour market.
