The International Contest of Scholarly Articles

Organizers:

The joint project of The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Ecology and Environmental Protection, UNDP and GEF “Complete HCFC Phase-out in Uzbekistan through Promotion of Zero ODS Low GWP Energy Efficient Technologies”

Participation:

We invite interested researchers to take part in the international contest of scholarly articles dedicated to the protection of the ozone layer on the topic “The Ozone Layer and Life on Earth”.

The contest accepts scholarly articles published on web platforms or in scientific publications in the period between January 1, 2021 - July 31, 2022. This contest is open for bachelor's, master's and doctorate degree students from accredited educational institutions from all over the world conducting research in the field of ozone layer protection, refrigeration and air conditioning;

The contest is held in two nominations:

- Best scholarly article on Central Asia; 

- Best scholarly article in general;   

Two (2) winners (one man and one woman) shall be awarded in each nomination.

Attach an electronic version of a scholarly article, including a web link to a published article or a scanned copy.

Announcement of winners:

The award ceremony for the winners will take place at International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer event on September 16, 2022. 

The winners in each nomination will be awarded the following prizes:

- Best Article on Central Asia - 2 (two) notebooks (one man and one woman)

- Best Article on Issues Overall - 2 (two) Notebooks (one man and one woman)
