Kyiv, 3 August 2026 – A free educational series “AI for Public Service” has been released on the Diia.Education platform. The product is designed to help civil servants and representatives of local government authorities master the capabilities of artificial intelligence to facilitate and reduce the time spent on routine tasks.

The educational series was created on the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine within the framework of the DIA Support Project, implemented with funding from Sweden, for the Diia.Education platform.

Practitioners share their experience and effective tools in the series: generative AI consultant Oleksii Minakov and AI track manager at the Ministry of Digital Transformation Oleh Dubno. In 10 short episodes, they explain how to work effectively with ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM).

Viewers will receive clear instructions and learn:

• how to upload stacks of documents and instantly generate a summary or draft presentation;
• how to compose prompts using the “role — task — context — format” formula to get the perfect result first time;
• how to reliably protect personal data and safely process official information;
• how to identify neural network “hallucinations” and quickly check facts.

Ukraine is the first in the world to implement the concept of an agentive state, where technologies proactively help citizens. But this transformation will only fully work when every specialist can confidently manage algorithms in their workplace.

Artificial intelligence is already doing the lion's share of the work in government agencies. For example, lawyers at the Ministry of Digital Transformation have reduced document verification time from several weeks to 72 hours, the HR team has successfully automated 45% of processes, and the Diia AI assistant independently resolves over 95% of user queries.

Previously, the Ministry of Digital Transformation together with UNDP in Ukraine, with the support of Sweden, launched a free educational series “Digital Skills and Online Safety” on the Diia.Education platform.
