Belgrade, 30 May 2023 – With the financial support by the European Union (EU), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) issues the Second Public Call for project proposals that would contribute to integration of the returnees under the Readmission Agreement, especially those belonging to Roma population.

This public call is intended for civil society organisations in Serbia and refers to the projects aimed at improving the socio-economic integration of the returnees in Bujanovac, Valjevo and Novi Sad, as the local communities that take in a large number of returnees.

The proposed projects should contribute to intensifying the dialogue and cooperation between local self-governments, returnees and wider local communities. We especially encourage citizens’ associations to submit their innovative proposals that would address the main challenges faced with by the returnees, such as finding employment, and employ approaches that enable solving a number of these challenges simultaneously.

More details concerning the concrete challenges that project ideas need to address, as well as conditions for application and the selection criteria, can be found in the Guidelines for Applicants.

Citizens’ associations should submit their applications to the following e-mail address: integracija.povratnika.rs@undp.org. The application deadline in this Public Call is 31st July 2023

The documentation necessary for application is available only in Serbian.
