UNDP’s “Climate Promise 2” project, funded by the Government of Germany, has published a report, “Gender Target Gap Assessment for Mongolia’s NDC 3.0 and LT-LEDS,” by identifying gender-specific targets and actions within Mongolia’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and Long-Term Low Emissions Development Strategy (LT-LEDS).

The report includes the key gender gaps identified in climate policy and actions of Mongolia and recommends gender indicators to be included in the main sectors’ targets of NDC 3.0 of Mongolia, as well as ensures gender equality and inclusivity in the upcoming LT LEDS.

Through the "Climate Promise–2" project, UNDP has been supporting Mongolia in developing more gender-sensitive and inclusive climate commitments, ensuring alignment with the country’s long-term development priorities under Vision 2050.
