Participants underscored the growing importance of traceability and transparency, as international buyers and consumers increasingly seek reliable information on product origin, production conditions and environmental performance.

The discussion further emphasized that sustainable supply chains begin well before processing and manufacturing. Pasture management, responsible livestock production and efforts to reduce land degradation were highlighted as essential foundations for higher-value and environmentally responsible products.
