UNDP in partnership with “Maharat Foundation” conducted a thematic study on “Media trends in time of change” covering the period of October 2019 until November 2020. The study aims at discovering the role of media in democratic transition and in keeping pace with interactions of public opinion makers on social media with events being broadcasted by the media. This study also seeks to know the trends of the media in Lebanon at this stage, to find out the extent to which it copes with the demands of the revolution, and whether the slogans and demands that were adopted and launched by protesters are still valid and constitute a pillar and topic of interest in various media coverage.
