Are you a student of the Faculty of Law? Do you want to contribute through research writing in improving Kosovo’s justice system and gain new skills in terms of research?
UNDP in cooperation with the Legal Institute for Research and Studies / Faculty of Law, and the Agency for Free Legal Aid invites you to participate in the Research Competition on the topic:
"What are the advantages and disadvantages of Free Legal Aid in Kosovo and how can free legal aid services be improved?"
Criteria: The research should be no more than 2,000 (two thousand) words. Only those papers which are submitted with a valid index number of the Faculty of Law will be accepted. Students of BA and MA level can participate in this competition. Any kind of plagiarism is forbidden. In case of plagiarism the applicant will be disqualified without the right to appeal.
Innovative ideas will be evaluated with 10 extra points.
The three best works will be awarded with amounts of 400 Euro (first place), 300 Euro (second place) and 200 Euro (third place).
The research paper must be submitted by September 12 via e-mail to: registry.ks@undp.org, with the subject line e-mail: Free Legal Aid Research.
The papers will be evaluated by an independent commission composed of three professionals under the supervision of UNDP.
