UNDP’s partnership with Jamaica on climate action spans decades, and in The Bahamas is of recent vintage. UNDP support is focused primarily on policy formulation, institutional strengthening, research and international reporting commitments, as well as community-based adaptation and mitigation. UNDP’s work in Climate Change constitutes the lion’s share of its programming– more than 40%.
