For Pattimura University students who attended, I hope you will actively participate in this training because it will be very useful for your future endeavours.”
Ririmase added, “As a student, you must innovate as we restart after the global economic crisis. It is highly recommended that we develop a business, if possible.
Sheila Teta Carina, Technical Coordinator of the Impact Fund at UNDP Indonesia’s Innovative Financing Lab noted the importance of providing basic training as a means to giving the economy a jumpstart. “This Basic Entrepreneurship Training Program is aimed at building entrepreneurial skills among disadvantaged groups. These populations have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and can’t access the real economy. We need to encourage entrepreneurship, particularly in the digital economy after the COVID-19 pandemic,” she said.
Basic Entrepreneurship Training is an opportunity to explore of the potential of Ambon, Maluku’s resources. This training also provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs in the region to overcome economic problems during the socio-economic crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“In the last 10 years, the number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia has increased by 3.5 percent, which is supported by the development of information, technology, and innovation. However, the main factor is the increasing awareness and ability of young people in Indonesia to create and seize business opportunities independently by becoming entrepreneurs,” said Adryan Hafizh, Co-Founder, SIAP.
