A set of publications are designed to identify rural development challenges and the most relevant activities for the provision of integrated rural support services in eight target municipalities: Akhalkalaki, Borjomi, Dedoplistskaro, Kazbegi, Keda, Khulo, Lagodekhi and Tetritskaro.

The reports also cover the thematic priorities such as economy, society and environment, and cross-cutting priorities - infrastructure, skills gaps and rural-urban linkages. Each of the thematic priorities includes the analysis of the current situation as well as the key problems and a summary of the possible interventions.

The initiative was implemented by the ENPARD project Improving Rural Development in Georgia with the assistance from the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
