APPLY TODAY: Drawing workshop and video production workshop, funded by the European Union and organized by UNDP with the Technical Committee on Culture

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Technical Committee on Culture’s Video / Drawing Competition and Workshop has been postponed to a future date.

Participants who have submitted their work to the competition will be evaluated in the competition when the new dates are determined. Participants who have already submitted their work will also have a chance to resubmit or revise their work if they would like to do so before the new date. 

Thank you for participating in this competition and we apologize for any inconveniences that may have been caused due to the postponement of the competition.


As part of the Drawing and Video Competition for Children and Youth, funded by the European Union and organized by UNDP with the Technical Committee on Culture, two workshops will be held on 24 September 2022 at the Home for Cooperation. The workshop is expected to take place between 10:00 and 14:00. During the workshops, participants will be guided through formal and non-formal education practices to co-create drawings and videos.

The drawing workshop will focus on cultural heritage monuments, some of which have been conserved by the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage and will be geared towards ages 11-14. The workshop will be supervised by Popi Nicolaou and Batu Gündal. To apply to the workshop, please fill out the following form and email it to drawingcompetition.cy@undp.org by 21.09.2022.

The video production workshop will focus on cultural heritage monuments, some of which have been conserved by the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage and will be geared towards ages 15-18.
