In January 2023, Ms. Beate Trankmann, UNDP Resident Representative in China, was interviewed by World Affairs Pictorial: Foreign Affairs Horizon. Published by World Knowledge Press since 1983 under supervision of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is China's first large-scale comprehensive pictorial magazine covering global affairs. The interview covers topics including UNDP's development achievements over its four decades long history in China, China's experience in poverty alleviation, and the need for accelerated actions to address the climate crisis.
