The five first ranked participants of the Start-up programme have been selected for support from the LID project to establish their own companies in 2018 (Emir Bulić, Đorđo Prljeta, Edin Moranjkić, Alena Kovačević i Jelka Zane).

The above-mentioned business ideas will be supported through the grant funds intended for the purchase of basic assets. Furthermore, the support encompasses a free business advisory and mentorship support in 2018 in order to respond to increased business risks and contribute to business survival and sustainability.

The Local Integrated Development Project is a three-year initiative (2016-2018) primarily financed by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP in BiH), in cooperation with the State Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees, Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts of the Federation of BiH, Ministry of Administration and Local Self-Government of RS and two Associations of Cities and Municipalities. The project is being implemented in 21 local governance units in BiH.
