This two-part policy brief series was developed from UNDP and Fulbright University Viet Nam’s research on the Future of Work for Vietnamese Youth in the Digital Era. The first brief introduces the use of strategic foresight methodologies to strengthen youth and civic engagement in policymaking. By outlining why foresight matters for Viet Nam’s long-term development, this brief sets the foundation for the second paper in the series, which presents the research findings on youth visions, barriers, and policy implications for the future of work.
