Position: International Technical Specialist, (Energy Efficiency in Housing and Construction sector)

Description: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites applications for the position of International Technical Specialist, (Energy Efficiency in Housing and Construction sector).

The ITS provides strategic and technical advices in energy efficiency in buildings. As key

advisor to the Ministry of Construction, the ITS is responsible for sharing international best

practices, policies advice, design technical activities, and quality assurance of EECB project

products and contributes to related policy analysis at international and national level.

Candidates should have Post Graduate degree (master’s level, equivalent or higher) with

knowledge in the field of energy, environment, engineering, architecture or construction;

proven knowledge energy efficiency and low-carbon development, GHG mitigation options

in construction sector; and at least seven years working experience and knowledge in

conducting policy analysis and providing policy advice to the government agencies to

enhance national and sectoral policies in relevant topics.
