This report supports Uzbekistan’s transition to a results-based strategic planning and budgeting system aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Its main goal is to strengthen the institutional and technical capacities of the Government and contribute to integration of and use of performance information into Uzbekistan’s planning and budgeting processes. The report provides recommendations based on international good practice with a focus strengthening processes and institutional arrangements rather than creating new methodology for SDG budget tagging.
