The project closely cooperates with government structures, local municipalities, and civil society organizations to support young people, especially young women as a fast-growing demographic and the future of the country.

Main objectives

Young people in the Fergana Valley, particularly young women and those vulnerable at-risk groups are empowered to participate equally in political, economic and social spheres, and their respective organizations and local communities have the necessary approaches and capacities to ensure gender-responsive service delivery and engage with the youth as change makers.

Expected results:

  1. Empowered youth to promote their civic participation and socio-economic inclusion.

  2. Increased social cohesion through addressing harmful gender stereotypes and empowering women and girls.
