The exhibition tells the story of the everyday work of emergency responders and police officers in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv — those who continue to carry out their duties amid the extreme conditions of full-scale war. Through a series of documentary photographs by Ihor Ishchuk and Oleksandr Mahula, the exhibition highlights not only the professionalism of emergency service personnel, but also the emotional side of their work — the strain, the tension, and the daily challenges they face.
The project was implemented under the flagship UNDP-EU partnership “EU4Recovery – Empowering Communities in Ukraine”, in cooperation with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) and the National Police of Ukraine (NPU). Creative implementation was perfomed by Vandog Agency.
