The first pilot program of “UNDP Gender Equality Seal Certificate Program for Private Sector”, which is carried out globally by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has started to be implemented in Turkey at Limak Investments.

Limak Investments, the first Turkish company to adopt the UNDP Gender Equality Seal Program, aims to develop, adopt and implement a gender-sensitive approach at the corporate level with the technical support of UNDP.

The program which is being carried out for public and private sector organisations in many countries around the world, requires an establishment of an internal administrative system where balance and equality of opportunity for women and men are constantly monitored and remedial measures are taken within companies and in business relations.

Within the scope of the Project which was designed with a holistic approach, implementation of the UNDP Gender Equality Seal Program along with other programs carried out for high school and university students, has been started with the aim to create an inclusive model for corporate life.
