The “White Paper - Policy Recommendations for Young Women Who Are Not In Education, Employment, or Training (NEET) in Türkiye”has been published as part of the Young Women Building Their Future Project.
The White Paper was prepared based on the first phase outputs of the project, which is implemented by the Sabancı Foundation and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in cooperation with the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. As a strategic roadmap to guide the second phase of the project, the White Paper outlines policy recommendations aimed at increasing the participation of young NEET women in Türkiye’s education system, workforce, and social life.
Prepared through a participatory approach, the White Paper incorporates insights from NEET women, local actors, international organizations, and representatives from the public sector, civil society, academia, and the private sector. These recommendations are based on the activities carried out in the project's pilot provinces. The document identifies potential stakeholders essential for the implementation of policy recommendations and highlights the critical importance of cooperation.
