Curaçao’s National Development Plan, 2015-2030, was approved by the Council of Ministers as of February 3^rd 2016.

This National Development Plan (NDP) is one of the first NDP's using the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which were adopted by the United Nations with the aim to transform our world. It pays dues to the vision statement for Curaçao that was adopted by the Island Council in 2006. By aligning with the SDGs of the UN, a framework was created to work on the eradication of poverty and creation of shared prosperity, the promotion of health, free and accessible education, a clean environment, sustainable energy, water management and safety for all citizens.

The NDP presents an extraordinary opportunity for both the government and citizens of Curaçao to work together towards improving the quality of life for all citizens.
