Belgrade, 15 May 2023 – With the financial support by the European Union, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) issues the Public Call involving support in staring one’s own business or developing the existing one, which would contribute to integration of the returnees under the Readmission Agreement, especially those belonging to Roma population.  The support will also be provided to members of other vulnerable or less employable groups on the territories of the cities of Novi Sad and Valjevo, and Municipality of Bujanovac.

The Public Call is open for two types of support:

a) Support to beneficiaries of the Project in starting their own business, including a training for starting one’s own business and a training for development of business plans;

b) Support in improving already existing business entities, i.e. registered micro or small business ventures, involving a training for business development, with the purpose of employing beneficiaries of the Project.

Both these types of support would include the provision of:

- mentoring support before and after the registration of the business entity, i.e. before and after the employment of new employees in the already existing business entities;

- support in equipment, such as machinery and tools, raw and other materials, in the maximum amount of 10,000 USD. The procurement is realised directly by UNDP based on approved technical specification and business plans of beneficiaries, i.e. development plan of an existing business entity.
