Belgrade, July 1, 2022 - With the financial support of the European Union (EU), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is issuing public call to civil society organizations (CSOs) in Serbia, with the aim of increasing youth employability. CSOs can submit project proposals that contribute to improving the knowledge and skills of young people, so that they can find work more easily. 

All CSOs that meet the stipulated conditions can apply. 

The application requirements and selection criteria are described in the Guidelines for Applicants.

CSOs should submit their applications in one printed copy and in electronic form (USB memory) via registered mail, or in person, to the following address:

The deadline for submitting applications is July 21, 2022, at 5 p.m. 

An information session will be organized for all interested citizens' associations, where they will get additional information and clarifications regarding the Public Call. The information session will be held on July 8, 2022, starting at 2 p.m., online, via the Zoom platform. 

The title of the application for the information session should state: Name of the CSO, Application for participation in the information session, and the text of the electronic letter should contain the name, surname, function and e-mail address of the person who is applying. One association can register several participants. 

This public call was announced within the project "Regional Programme on Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 2 (ReLOaD2)" funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by UNDP. 

The goal of the ReLOaD2 project is to strengthen democracy and the EU integration process in the Western Balkans by empowering civil society and encouraging young people to actively participate in the decision-making process, as well as to improve the legal and financial framework, in order to encourage the development of civil society. The project also promotes youth engagement, supports the implementation of youth initiatives, and works to improve their economic prospects in partner local governments.

The Regional Program on Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 2 (ReLOaD2) is funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. 

* For the European Union, this designation is without prejudice to position on status and is in line with UNSCR 1244/1999 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence. For UNDP all references to Kosovo shall be understood in the context of the UN Resolution 1244/1999.
