Gaza Recovery Accelerator — Seed Grants for Recovery-Oriented MSMEs

Call for Proposals

The United Nations Development Programme/ Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP), is pleased to announce this Call for Proposals for the Innovation Challenge — Gaza Recovery Accelerator. As Gaza's economy has suffered a contraction without precedent in the contemporary development record. GDP has contracted by 83 per cent, unemployment stands at 80 per cent, and more than 84 per cent of MSMEs have been destroyed or rendered non-operational. Physical, financial, and market infrastructure has been comprehensively dismantled.

In response, UNDP/PAPP is launching the Gaza Recovery Accelerator, a 6-month program supporting and acceleration innovation in the most needed fields to help support the recovery of the facets of life in the Gaza Strip, implemented in collaboration with national partners including the local Industrial and Commercial Unions, Community Organizations, and relevant local and international stakeholders. The Accelerator is designed to restore the operational viability of enterprises in priority recovery sectors and to build a validated pipeline of investment-ready businesses.

This Call for Proposals invites applications from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and early-stage entrepreneurs in Gaza to join the first cohort of the Gaza Recovery Accelerator.
