Brief Description of the Project

The project is an enabling activity to support the Government of Cook Islands in developing its First Biennial Transparency Report and submitting its Fourth National Communication to the UNFCCC. In addition, the project provides support to enhance the national systems for Transparency Reporting.

The enabling activity aims to assist the Cook Islands to meet its reporting requirements under the UNFCCC and the Paris Agreement and prepare a combined First Biennial Transparency and Fourth National Communication Report in accordance with the MPGs and methodological guidance contained in decisions 18/CMA.1 and 5/CMA.3. Additionally, to strengthen technical and institutional capacity to prepare.
