Guideline for the preparation, coordination, and approval of territorial development master plans is a practical document which supports a structured approach to territorial and socio-economic planning. It brings together key methodologies and recommendations to help design well-grounded, realistic, and sustainable master plans.

The guideline was developed within the framework of the Joint project of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and UNDP Component B "Engineering Services and Strengthening Capacity in Infrastructure Management" of the "Sustainable Rural Development" financed by Islamic Development Bank and OPEC Fund for International Development.
