On September 28-30, 2021, under the auspices of Central Asia Women Leaders Caucus, an online Cooperation Exchange among Women Entrepreneurs of Central Asian Countries in the format of B2B meetings was held. UNDP Uzbekistan together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan organized the event.

The cooperation exchange was held to establish direct contacts and business partnerships between women entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The cooperation exchange, which included such thematic sessions as industry, services, agriculture, arts and crafts, and innovative technologies, was attended by more than 250 businesswomen of Central Asia.

During the event women entrepreneurs established direct contacts with regional partners and discussed prospective directions of business cooperation. This will undoubtedly contribute to continuation of Caucus’ joint efforts in promotion of women's economic empowerment, support and development of business relations both in bilateral and regional formats.

It is worth noting that for the convenience of women entrepreneurs of Central Asia, an electronic database with contact information on participants of the cooperation exchange has been created. At the same time it is planned to create an electronic catalog with data about activities of women entrepreneurs of the region, which will be uploaded to the website of the Central Asia Women Leaders Caucus by the end of 2021.

In addition, participants of the thematic session on arts and crafts expressed interest to participate in the upcoming national embroidery festival, which will be held in Uzbekistan in March 2022.

The participants were also interested in the upcoming meeting of the Discussion Club, during which it is planned to exchange views and best practices in the field of women's entrepreneurship development.

As a result of the event, women entrepreneurs of Central Asia reached 15 cooperation agreements amounting to more than 5 million dollars.
