Miodrag Dragisic
Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine
Miodrag Dragisic is the Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine. He has more than 25 years of experience spanning international development, humanitarian assistance, and the private sector.
Before assuming his current role, Mr. Dragisic served as Deputy Resident Representative for UNDP in Türkiye, ensuring programme coherence, strengthening strategic partnerships, and mobilising resources to advance economic recovery, sustainable livelihoods, post-disaster recovery, and humanitarian-development integration.
Earlier, he held several senior positions with UNDP Montenegro, culminating in eight years as Assistant Resident Representative, where he led programme portfolios supporting social inclusion, EU Integration, and resilience initiatives.
Prior to joining UNDP, Mr. Dragisic worked as Financial Controller at Telenor Montenegro, overseeing financial and operational analysis, budgeting, business planning, and performance reporting.
He also gained significant humanitarian experience with the Danish Refugee Council, managing post-conflict recovery programmes in Montenegro and across the Western Balkans, while strengthening civil society organizations and supporting institutional capacity-building.
Mr. Dragisic holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Montenegro, and two master’s degrees: one in International Cooperation and Development from Sapienza University of Rome, and another in Environmental Protection from the University of Montenegro.
He is fluent in Montenegrin and English, and proficient in several South Slavic languages.
Mr. Dragisic is married and has three children..
