Chynara and her children
"My name is Chynara. I am a mother of two children and I am a survivor of domestic violence. However, I searched for help, overcame my internal fears and found it."
As part of the #GenerationEquality campaign against gender-based violence, the UNDP Kyrgyzstan team produced a short comic book about Chynara. Her story reflects the essence of domestic and gender-based violence, and also shows why seeking help and solving this problem is important not only for a women, but also for children.
